REMCO’S LIVING AMBITION: Where work and adventure come together!

Remco Pikaar TAUW Netherlands – Business Developer Energy transition

During a 2.5 week road trip/workation through France and Spain, I combined business development with personal growth. Aiming to strengthen international collaboration on the Energy transition, I visited TAUW offices in Paris, Madrid, Barcelona and Dijon. I shared Dutch expertise, learned from local colleagues, and took concrete steps for new projects, including securing proposals for large-scale energy and green molecule projects.

In addition to business successes, the trip gave me space for personal reflection and to strengthen ties with friends and family. In Dijon, we completed an important corporate presentation, highlighting TAUW’s European project portfolio on the Energy transition and our contribution to CO2 reduction. My trip in Barcelona concluded with a competitive morning swim with Enrico, Business Development Manager in TAUW Iberia and in Dijon with a challenging squash match with the new commercial manager of TAUW France.

With 4,500 emission-free kilometers on the odometer, I look back on a successful mission where work and adventure went hand in hand. The insights and contacts I gained form a valuable basis for future international collaborations.
